NCA 2025 - Call for Workshops

The NCA conference intends to include a number of high-quality workshops. We invite experts on related research subjects to submit one-day or half-day workshop proposals within the scope of NCA 2025.

Proposed workshops can be on any topic related to NCA, but we are particularly interested in workshops focusing on emerging NCA areas.

Workshops can be organized as a “mini-conference”, comprising peer-reviewed presentations and proceedings, or as a “symposium” without proceedings, fostering deeper interactions and more focused discussion. “Mini-conference” workshops should adhere to the calendar proposed for submission, reviewing and CRC. “Symposium” workshops can be based on an invited program using various formats but with a strong interactive and community-engaging component.

IMPORTANT DATES

• (AoE) Workshop proposal submission: July 31, 2025
• Workshop proposal acceptance notification: August 4, 2025
• Workshop website and CFP online: August 8, 2025
• Workshop paper submission (approximate): August 29, 2025
• Workshop paper notification (approximate): October 7, 2025
• Workshop camera ready (approximate): October 15, 2025

WORKSHOP PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

Each workshop proposal, not exceeding three pages of 11pt single-spaced text, in PDF format, should include the following information:

• title of the workshop;
• names, affiliations and e-mail addresses of the organizing committee;
• brief technical description of the workshop topic area;
• history of the workshop, including other venues, if applicable;
• short description of the intended format of the workshop (mini-conference or symposium; keynote speakers, discussions, etc.);
• description of the intended review process, if applicable;
• brief statement of the relevance of the workshop to NCA;
• preliminary list of PC members that have accepted to participate in the committee.

Each workshop will organize its own submissions and reviewing procedures and will provide its own website. A link will be provided to the workshop's website from the NCA 2025 website.

Organizers will plan their workshop's schedule so that: (i) the paper submission deadline is at approx. the same time as the main conference's notification date (August 29, 2025); (ii) authors are notified no later than October 7, 2025; and (iii) authors submit their camera-ready papers no later than October 15, 2025.

Workshop organizers will ensure that all accepted papers are peer reviewed. Accepted workshop papers should be no longer than 6 pages in the standard IEEE format. Note that at least one author of each accepted workshop paper must hold a full conference registration, as must at least one workshop organizer.

Workshop organizers are responsible for preparing papers of their workshops in the IEEE format.

Tips: Be sure to use the template's conference mode. See template documentation for details. Accordingly, check that the bibliography is properly formatted according to IEEE specifications. It is possible, but discouraged, to use other systems for the preparation of papers, e.g. MS-Word. Author kits for these systems can be found on this page.
